Meet the Founder

A fifth-generation member of the Brown family of Northeast Harbor, Molly brings generations of local knowledge, trusted community connections, and a deep appreciation for coastal Maine living to her work.

The Quietside Assistant was founded from years of hands-on experience supporting homes, families, businesses, and events throughout the island community. Throughout her career, Molly has worked across hospitality, estate support, administration, event coordination, and emergency services, developing a unique ability to adapt seamlessly to the evolving needs of each client.

Her background spans estate caretaking and property oversight, seasonal property openings and closings, household support, housekeeping for large private residences, garden and grounds care, home organization projects, administrative assistance, and hospitality service. She has supported private events ranging from intimate dinner parties to elegant coastal weddings, assisting with everything from behind-the-scenes coordination to guest experience and event-day logistics.

Molly also holds a Paralegal Certificate from Husson University and spent many years working in emergency medical services as an Advanced EMT. These experiences strengthened her ability to communicate effectively, manage complex situations, solve problems creatively, and remain calm under pressure. All qualities that continue to define her work today.
